Growing More Than Food: Our Ongoing Partnership with The Paddock Project

Since 2020, Syntropic Solutions has proudly partnered with The Paddock Project to co-create a regenerative food forest in Mullumbimby that’s about more than just food — it's about inclusion, empowerment, and community.

At the heart of this thriving regenerative farm is a commitment to sustainable agriculture, food security, and regenerative practices that nourish the land while honouring the human connections that bring it to life. Through our ongoing collaboration, we’ve transformed this farm into a dynamic, living example of what’s possible when ecology and social good grow together.

A Place for Everyone

Every day, our Syntropic Agroforestry Specialist Rodrigo works on the farm alongside a dedicated group of around 30 people with disabilities, who bring their unique strengths to the land and help shape this thriving, inclusive space. These inclusive programs provide not just a place to grow food, but also pathways to employment, skills training, and a strong sense of belonging.

The Paddock is designed as a space where people of all abilities are valued contributors. It's a place where growing food becomes an act of empowerment — an opportunity to learn, connect, and find meaning through hands-on work in nature.

A Social Enterprise Rooted in Regeneration

Sustainability at The Paddock extends well beyond the soil. As a social enterprise regenerative farm, the farm reinvests in its people and purpose. Fresh produce grown on-site is sold at affordable prices through the organic food shop on the property — a space that also includes a welcoming café where locals can gather, share stories, and build community.

Through volunteer initiatives, local residents can also contribute to and benefit from the farm’s regenerative work — creating a feedback loop of learning, connection, and shared purpose.

Sharing Knowledge Through Syntropic Agroforestry Workshops & Tours

Education is a cornerstone of our mission at The Paddock. That’s why we regularly offer fam tours and hands-on workshops that demonstrate how we grow abundant food while restoring ecosystems. These events are designed to inspire and equip participants with practical knowledge — whether you're a home gardener, a landholder, or simply someone curious about sustainable living.

By walking through this living, working example of syntropic agroforestry, visitors see firsthand how food production can be aligned with ecological health and social impact.
