The Southport School Agriculture Gardens

At The Southport School, the Edible Garden Program is thriving.
What began with a Mini Food Forest and seasonal beds has grown into a living classroom where students explore natural systems up close.
Sweet potatoes and ginger flourish alongside native plants and pollinators, creating a biodiverse space that showcases the beauty and efficiency of syntropic design.
This is more than a garden — it’s hands-on education and fun.

Ground Currumbin

Ground Currumbin is more than a café — it’s a community hub.

A place to connect with friends and family, enjoy open space with the kids, and share meaningful conversations.
With the support of Syntropic Solutions, their thriving Edible Garden is bursting with seasonal veggies and salads grown using syntropic principles. The harvest goes straight to their café menu and Grocer store, offering fresh food from soil to plate.
At the Garden Trail, you’ll not only explore their abundant garden but also enjoy a coffee and something delicious to eat.

Rosemary Gaia is a holistic organic edible nursery located in Currumbin with a mission to empower people through plants.
Daniela’s passion is teaching the knowledge and skills needed to care for plants and edible gardens.

Ediblescapes is more than a community garden — it’s a living experiment in sustainable abundance. Step into its maze of food forest rows and you’ll find yourself surrounded by layers of edible plants, each working in harmony to create a thriving ecosystem.
Here, the local community in Nerang, guided by Jorge, explores and applies innovative techniques in soil building and regenerative food production. Instead of relying on synthetic fertilisers, they nurture the land naturally, creating a space that is both abundant and resilient.

A Dream Grown into Abundance
Donna dreamed of starting her own edible garden and spent two years working hard to bring that vision to life. With Thiago’s guidance, she was able to take it even further, transforming her space into Soul Haven — a flourishing sanctuary overflowing with fresh produce.
Today, her garden located in Mermaid Waters is a living example of abundance and creativity. Visitors will uncover the secrets of companion planting, learn how plants support one another, and explore unique raised garden beds designed for both beauty and productivity.

Southern Beaches Community Gardens

A Coastal Haven of Abundance
Just off the highway at Tugun lies the expansive Southern Beaches Community Garden — a vibrant hub where locals come together to grow, share, and learn. This flourishing space is open to the public every day, welcoming visitors to experience the joy of community-driven food growing.
On Trail Day, the growers will offer guided tours every hour, taking you through their thriving allotment garden beds, the composting hub, and the flourishing food forest. Along the way, you’ll discover practical tips and tricks that you can easily try at home, making this an inspiring and educational stop on the Gold Coast Edible Garden Trail.
